Short description / Book summary (www.goodreads.com): The year is fifteen billion and seventy three and TimeJumping is every kid's favorite passtime. Legendary teenage TimeJumper Theodore Pine knows there's only one rule when you TimeJump: Don't Touch Anything. Just the slightest change to the past could have catastrophic consequences. But Theo's starting to think the rule doesn't apply to him. Why not fiddle about with history?
Meanwhile, back in the present, Jules and Gen are too busy worrying about their first date to wonder what Theo's up to. They have no idea they're about to TimeJump three thousand years into the future, become invisible, spy on Theo and try to save the world. (Hopefully without Gen's mum noticing they're up to something...)
Welcome to a world where you can go anywhen you like...
My Thoughts: Well written, fast and unexpected, part two of the JumpMan story is better and much more interesting than its first. With the story taking on new challenges and debating strange and unexplained phenomenons of our real world, the book is a great read.
Pages 80 to 83 are my favorites, where Time is the topic of conversation. Valentine is very talented to have been able to put down the fundamental questions of life itself down so simply and well.
As far as my research goes, I think JumpMan's got just these two releases. But i'll be looking out for the third.
Characters: Theodore Pine, Genevieve, Jules, Quincy Carter, Lavinia, Franklin
My rating of the book: ***1/2
